Best wishes everyone, enjoy my fresh created Xmas card for you all!, its my impression of Santa in Australia :)
I mean its still a weird thing for me, seeing Santa's running around here in high summer, 40 degree weather!, having a barbie (BBQ) with xmas songs on the background.. its my third xmas in Sydney, and dont think I can get used to Santa's in hot weather, but all other ingredients during this time (BBQ's, just couple of beers etc..) are "No Worries"... :)

I’ve send the email version to all commenter’s on this blog during the last years and all people I could think of and everyone I could find in my inbox.
Yes, I thought this is a good opportunity to plug my site, and to break some silences or restore some contacts, with the Xmas spirit attached :)

In Dutch I asked above, what would be the name of a sandwich in Planet Hollywood’s restaurant filled with spaghetti named after a naughty girl’s rock group?

The answer to this is: Sandwich "Spaghetti RockBitch".
Its a little joke I had with Marco, while we were in Crete (Kreta) years ago.. walking down the hill towards the nightlife of that stunning island, we wondered what dishes the "Planet Hollywood" restaurants would present, as they name them after stars and bands etc.
Obviously we were not thinking of the normal names.. and the "Spaghetti RockBitch", was top of that list :) Hilarious time, but as many jokes.. you had to be there.. :P
The sandwich part wasnt in the original joke, but sat nice with the joke above :)
Anyways.. great time we had Marco *Sigh*, hope all other people can kinda understand it.. lol

This is what the Vision Yellow Golf Ball looks like on a cloudy day, the ball becomes more radiant, and really stands out in the environment.
The same effect happens early morning or at twilight, giving atleast a half hour extra play both ways.
I finally could capture the real effect and colour of this ball.

This saturday I became first in B grade (Mona Vale again), outrunning my handicap with one point.. lol, so finally going to loose a shot or two...

Although my drives were not good, my putting went well, one 3 putt (first hole, i thought "here we go again") and rest 2 puts with even a couple of 1 puts, very pleased with that as I changed putter.
I played par on the last two holes to make the winning score, but mainly I played crap aswell.. I totally stuffed up 11 shots, I mean real stuff ups like miss hits that even rolled into the water etc... 11 shots, can you imagine what that would have meant for my score.. what a waste, just lack of focus, and the old "I know what im doing", or way to eager to see the result of your shot.. grrr..*stupid*.

I started putting with my old default putter again (Proline, came with the bag and set.. lol), and left my Odyssey in the back of my car. The shaft of the Odyssey connects at the very end of the putter, and that makes the feeling for me less true and also more chance on a wiggle during stroke.
Im so much shorter to the hole with my old crappy putter now, as the shaft connects more to the middle, and gives a way better feeling. Now have to find better direction as to much times im off to the right.
Last week I went to the Par3 course at Terrey Hills with Wayne again on friday after work, and he explained the difference! tnx m8!

This weekend we play at Mona Vale again, and I am getting to know the course heaps better, what also helps obviously.
Now i sorted out the putter thingie, the task for this Saturday is...

- NO STUFF UPPS.. :)
- Better direction with putting
- Hopefully better drives, or woods off tee..
(got in to much trouble)

The good thing is most people of our comp are playing with the vision ball .. YAY!

When I was putting the Category inside the entries, I got this error while rebuilding the blog.

Finally my design is getting somewhere, pff took me little while but now I'v put the last things in that I wanted to put in, and its atleast two browser compatible, IE 6 and Firefox.

Ive asked Rob to look at the site in Safari, and will check later for IE7 to put in the last compromises to enhance the viewing pleaser 4all, and make the site look in all browser the way I want it to look.. :)

V2.1.2 has new:
- Date style top (per day)
- Catagory dislayed the post is filed under
- Post title style
- Quotes in blockquote tag (very manual)
- Box for Perm link, Trackback and date plus Author
- Comments link place
- Divider bottom post.

The musical is based on an Aussie movie from 1994 with obviously the same name without the musical, that absolutely rocked the world, and also received an Oscar.
Ive seen the movie one night, wile flicking the 5 channels we have here.. lol.. i did watch a bit of it.
The story is quite interesting, two Drag Queens and one Transsexual going to leave their "safe" environment in Sydney to cross the Australian Outback/Desert to go to "Alice Springs" for a big gig at one of the main characters wife’s Casino.

The musical from this movie was both fun, as in fantastic jokes and quick one liners. Also the music was pretty good to, as mainly the old Kylie, Abba, Tina Turner music.. and the costumes were also most impressive.

Very enjoyed the night, and was a fab experience.. Tnx Silicon Control for the invite!

We had tickets for U2, but we needed four tickets and only got two.. so we gave those tickets to Scott and Lisa (brother Ally). I arranged tickets for Kylie before the breast cancer incident, and now she started performing again, I could have gone to that.. but decided its more a girlie thingy so I gave my ticket away.. funny thing was that my tickets got selected to also use the VIP Lounge.

Last week i got an email from Christel, who I’ve never met but know she and her husband are Dutch and living in Sydney. Christel is a make-up artist, and Ally got her make-up done by Christel for some profi photos for work.. and you know how girls talk.. anyway I got the email address from Christel to get some DutchLinks :)
The email was send to all Christels friends who she thought be interested in tickets for Robbie Williams.

Christel just had a little baby girl, and wanted to give her 2 tickets up.
I emailed back on the spot, and got the tickets.. :)
So today at 5 Ally and I are going to see "The Entertainer" Live!

I wonder what kind of complete intranet blogs are available; as I’ve seen many feature for example this blog (MovableType), good enough for a business environment.
I know big companies like McDonalds and Microsoft etc are using intranet blogging, but that still supports only a small group that has benefit from it within.
I have no idea what situations are available to completely wipe out the in every office used whiteboard for who's in or not etc.. I mean that should be viewable on the intranet, so ppl with VPN's from home can see also.
Then the corporate memo's that generate a full-scale mail mass, cuz some person for whateva reason hits the "reply to all button", i mean send out a brief intro to subscribed members through the blog, and let the persons comment if they want in a bigbrothered environment, for everyone to see.

Let all the outlooks or aggregators be subscribed to the companies RSS, feeds so the last 5, 10 ... whatever messages on the blog are viewable without going to the blog, and pushed next to the mail or on the start page of every browser.
Anyways many many opportunities for internal blogging..
Still have to find if it can host like a meeting room booking schedule, or a fully integrated agenda with all future functions etc.

Anyways, im going to look into it in the near future as I kinda warmed one of the Directors of the company I do work for at the moment. I mean this is the ideal surroundings, as all are very technical engineers here at this place, and like new technologies etc.

Also the weekly final that hosts 150 players on friday evening, and top 7 gets paid with first price 1500$ then second 750 and so on.. i tried now 4 times, but no luck at all.. every time just after the 1st break I come in a do or die situation that turns to the latter. U need a couple of breaks to advance in the game.. when they dont come or hit, the blinds (compulsory bets) kill you. I do like the type of play that ppl do.. its way more reserved and not so many cowboys calling gutshots.

So last monday came second again... #$%%###@$l !!! get a second syndrome here.
So I can try again, hopefully I can play a bit now.. but then again, if it aint going well im gonna throw in the towel very soon, as the day after hit off for golf at 5.58 AM.. whut? yep.. 5.58 .. and I love it! Nice and cool in the early morning, and when we are finished before noon!

Played Golf on Northbridge again last weekend for the "corner club", gosh i really like that course.. its a goattrack to walk, being set on a cliff, we played from the medal tees, what made it way more interesting.
Didnt score enough to take a bite out of my handicap of 25 atm, im way to sloppy in my short game for that.
I did win the B grade 1st prize tho.. happy enough with that.
Last prize gets the horse head club cover, had that one for two weeks ..lol
This saturday we play Mona Vale again, lots of water but nice big fairways.. I put my big driver back in the closet and using my default little driver, have to try to stay save a bit more.

Maaike (daughter of my brother), has her 3rd bday today!
